Rare Society Coin Table

This was a giant, clear-cast, Vegas-inspired coin table for Rare Society Steakhouse in Solana Beach, California. This table not only needed to be crystal clear, but extremely temperature resistant to handle the variety of hot dishes it would see in its environment. We experimented with several resins and developed a unique combination that provides not only a perfect 1" clear display of floating gold coins, but also a heat resistant top coat, durable enough to survive a pot of boiling water directly from the stove- all without causing damage to the resin. Developing and curating this entire process, combined with being an enormous resin pour, we are thrilled with our results.
